Conventional therapies are reasonable first line agents for a plit patient who has mania with or without psychosis. The message is we need to be aware what it is that we are treating. In devon's case, we don't have one. So the next thing we can do is try and see if there are specific side effects that should or could be avoided based on medical comobidity or patient preference.
