The Benefits of Taking Breaks in the Holidays
We need to experience these four work recovery experiences in the holidays. At weekends every weekend for at least one day switching off completely and then at least two or three evenings every week. People that work in schools are very bad at taking breaks but if we take micro breaks of only 40 seconds they can have a huge benefit on our well-being. There are actually concrete things that individuals can do to maximise their well-being and enable them to recover more effectively in their non-work time.
