Charles Schultz: Most comic strip ideas are like that. They come from sitting in a room alone and drawing seven days a week as I've done for 40 years. That's exactly what Charles Schultz just told us, right? You could say the exact same thing about Schultz's studio. Now there's two things that those two sentences made me think of. One comes from another book, which is on Henry Singleton. And he says, I just needed time alone with my own thoughts. My childlike creativity, purity and honesty is honestly being crowded by these grown thoughts. Reality is taking my inner child, I'm fighting for custody.
