The Dead Parrot Sketch

John Cleese and Michael Palin performed the sketch at least 10 years after they filmed it. The shopkeeper suggests that he has a slug as a replacement for his parrot. A slug is like a snail without a shell, so I've got a slug. Does it talk? Not really, no. Well, it's scarcely a replacement then, is it? Do you know what an Escago is? An Escago is a slimy creature which has a shell on its back. They also change it a little bit and it's slightly random. And in fact, you will hear Michael Palin, the shopkeeper, trying not to laugh.
