Bethlehem was also the place that King David was born and the place where he was anointed King. Herod's Herod's play here after this is interesting because he tells them like look supposed to happen in Bethlehem so go out and find him and then you know bring him back to me because I got some I'd like to get my worship on as well, which I feel like is not entirely honest and forthright of him.
