What Is the Halo Effect?

The researchers say there's probably something called halo ignorance. Most people aren't aware of the halo effect, and so they don't realize that it's not so simple as i want to be liked or I want to seem important here. They're not mutually exclusive. If somebody in a conversation has a positive effect on you, you're going to like them; if they've a negative effect, you'll find them disinteresting.
