Delvincy's Plan to Defeat Napoleon

In october 17 96, baron joseph dal vincy was given command of some 50 thousand austrian soldiers and the urgent mission of expelling the french from verona. Dalvinsy's plan was to trap napoleon between the jaws of these two armies. To defeat this brilliant young general, the austrians would have to be more flexible. After a string of victories, napoleon had now lost two battles in a row.
