A Memoir of a Big Girl
Chrissie metz is the author of a memoir about growing up in Florida. She says she was bullied at school for being too big and abused by her stepfather, trigger. Metz worked as a drive through window to get out of the house on week ends when friends would bring their parents' cars. Her choir teacher got her into university where she learned how to play multiple instruments and sight read sheet music. The experience inspired her to become an accomplished singer-songwriter who went on to win a scholarship to college.
