The Limits of Reductionism
There are some interpretation like spontaneous collapse models, or considering that the reduction of the wave function is a real dynamical effect. I would even say if we really insist in reductionism, which is a dominant view, again reductionism, everything actually goes down to these elementary particles. So it's really a kind of top-down of causation and physics. Colleagues would shoot at me. But maybe we should have the courage to think that indeed it's not always going bottom-up,. This is just my thinking, OK, now. Getting close to 6-actro come Friday afternoon.
