The NBA's Rule Changes and Game Times
Jeff Pearlman: I think it's tough to be a television programmer because there are more people who live East of the Mississippi. You don't know who the teams are going to be in the NBA finals, so you do want to cater to the local fans as well. He says he is "fired up" by baseball's rule changes and game times that bring games down from two-and-a-half hours to just over one hour.Pearlman: We should be continually striving from the NBA perspective how we can get it down to two hours.
