The Shock of Deployment

In this chapter, they discuss their first appointment in a new frontier and the bumpy ride to their destination outside of Flooja. They describe the sound of gunshots outside of a training range for the first time and how their mindset for the mission changed once they were actually there. The chapter ends with the realization of the gravity of the situation.
