Sonoran Revolutionary Forces - Alvaro Opragon

Some Sonora leaders had risen up and fought for Matero in 1910 and 1911. They were shocked when Huerta, who had been their commander in the war against Orozco, treacherously murdered Senior Matero. So they urged the government to reject Huerta and instead fight him. A governor May Torrana took a six month leave of absence but he left as interim governor Ignacio Pescoria. Opragon would emerge as the leader of the Sonoran constitutionalist forces.
