The Costs of Self-Distribution
Self-distribution is a new avenue for filmmakers to go after just to do it yourself. There are costs involved and there's no one you know there's no free lunch so I would recommend having someone else who's in that business doing it for you right? The only way self-distribution can work is if you have a marketing budget and you hire somebody to help get the word out because otherwise that there's no hope that anyone's gonna ever find your movie, he says.
