Is There a Humor in Your Writing?
I come up with quite dark ideas and quite sad starts to books. And then, as the story unfolds, they get more kind of dramatic and in this book, I think a bit funnier as well. Ireland always had to find some humor out of some pretty bleak patches of history. So I suppose it is in us to laugh in the face of adversity or in the faces of hardship.
