The Decline of Morale in the Working Environment as a Junior Doctor
Dr Robert Gittings is a junior doctor working on an infectious diseases ward in London. He says he has seen the morale and safety of his colleagues deteriorate. His colleague, Dr Joanne Hoyle, works for children's A&E at St Mary's Hospital. She said she can be doing 10 hours a week unpaid work - more than a barista. Both doctors say they want to see their conditions addressed as well as pay.
