The Importance of Recognizing the Lawful Engagement of a Cop
In most countries there's an adversarial relationship with between the anybody who's involved in any shooting and the investigators because they are required to make sure that that was a lawful engagement. And again some of that can be lawful but awful. It's lawful but it looks really bad. The standard for use of force is what an officer of similar training and experience have acted the same way given a similar set of circumstances. Over on the civilian side we talk about the reasonable man ability opportunity immediate threat. I'm six foot I'm two fifty. I can't get into go violent as quickly as someone say as Casey as Elle who's I believe five six and you know we're going to say
