What Was the Scene Like as You Drive Out of Paradise?
"It was just, it was surreal. Like out of my periphery, I could see neighbors loading up their trucks," she says. "I'm driving down the street and yelling, getting your house in evacuate, get your stuff and get the hell out of here." She went back to her parents' property for a little bit but couldn't do it anymore. After moving from Paradise into Chico, he's trying to rebuild his life there.
