How to Make Money From a Big Hit Show
In TV, success was always a show lasting for many seasons. Your real windfall often comes either towards the end of its run on the air or after. Netflix doesn't know when an orders Squid Game that it's going to be a big hit. It doesn't even know when they released it. But if I were a deal maker here, I would try to get some kind of a renegotiation right up front - which Netflix has been unwilling to do.
