The Brilliancy of a House

Hester prynn went to visit the governor of england. The house had a cheery aspect and was decorated with broken glass fragments. Hester's mother told her that she must gather her own sunshine. She then decided to play with it, but could not find any sun on its front. When they arrived at the door one of the servants answered them. It turned out to be a seven-year slave who knew nothing about his master.
