The Paradox of Open Source
I don't think that anybody is really starting these projects thinking like, I'm going to try and get rich off of this. There's probably some market for trained business leaders that can like effectively like help so many people. Maybe the founders should just be very respected engineers as a whole if they want to do something before doing it solo or in their free time. The middle place between being an open source developer and running a company is also kind of strange.
