How I Met the Dominican Order

Father Jacob Bertrand Jansick: I grew up in a Catholic home, but perhaps a bit more nominally so. In the Dominican order, we strive to live a life that is intensely communal because of the conviction that God who is a communion of persons draws us to himself through a communion of Persons. Our prayers are conducted in common and our religious observances are conducted incommon as well. So yeah, at recording, I'm a new pastor. I'll probably be a new pastor for a long time. But just took over July 1st, 2022 here at St. Dennis, but back in Hanover. And it's good to be here in a different format and I guess
