What the Tortoise Said to Achilles
I wrote this book, maybe 200 pages, in pen on just ordinary paper. I started writing a dialogue that was modeled on a dialogue that Louis Carroll had written called What the Tortoise Said to Achilles. The structures became more and more elaborate. And eventually, I wound up inserting an intricately structured dialogue between every pair of consecutive chapters. That made the book have a very different flavor from a book called Goodll's Theorem and the Human Brain.
