In some ways, I think it's in reaction against that idea that you just have to work somewhere. We watched our parents grow up in jobs where they were relatively miserable and did it for 30 years. So there's a value to suffering through things for a short period of time. My fear for millennials might be that there's so much looking for that meaningful job that they don't get that wonderful experience of working for a hard job.
