What Was the Show Like?

i went to the london book fair on th Thursday. I had nothing to eat all day until 11 o'clock at night. The show was about 30% down in terms of footfall, but it was still good fun. i haven't met my aud publishers - whom i've done some pretty big deals with over the last 18 months,. and i've never seen them other than on zoom. To sit down in as you shake their hands and get to know them a little bit better is quite nice. You can't really beat e, sem, fine, but there's no such thing as being perfect.
