Do You Work in Your Dining Room?
A lot of families default to the kid doing their work in their room. I don't think that works nearly as well as people think it does. There are definitely some highly disciplined kids who are really good at getting to their desk and just getting down to business. But treating it like a thing to sort out as a critical feature, because when I have seen students really thrive, it's not necessarily that they're the smartest kid at school.
