The Importance of Compatibility Mode Apps

I use a lot of catalyst apps, but I don't use things in compatibility mode for the most part. If you don't use multiple Apple hardware devices simultaneously, it really makes a lot of sense to have compatibility mode so that when you're using your laptop, you can access things like iPad apps. The new widgets that are coming to Sonoma, the desktop widgets, which can be Widgets running on your phone, but showing up on your Mac is pointing where Apple is heading with all this.
