How to Unpack Blackness in Poetry

The latest issue of Mizna, the Arab American literary journal, has a takeover by an all black production team that looks at the intersection between Arabness and blackness. I want to ask Sophia about how she came to her own vocabulary within poetry to unpack blackness in your poems. She said she used to talk about her black Arabness, but now that doesn't feel right so she says things more like Arab phone, blackness, or Arabized Africanness. It's not entirely indigenous to her newbian identity.
