The Importance of Solitary

Do you think if you didn't end up in solitary, you wouldn't have made the kind of transitions that you've made as a person? Yes, I know. You know, being in solitary, this is, see, solitary is a catch 22. It's good on one hand, it's bad on the other hand. Look, you have to have a place where you can secure someone who doesn't care about human life and stabs guards. Otherwise, you just have nothing but blood on the floor. And at that point in time, I was in that mindset. So I needed to go to solitary to just have that moment of reflection.
