There is actually a system table in SQL Server to where you can go query and get an execution plan link that you can click on. It will actually show you the actual execution plan. There were for config files, if you have those. You could undo your changes by doing a get checkout dash dash on the file once you're done with it. But what if you just want to leave whatever changes you've made to it, but completely ignore it and not have get even tried to prompt you to commit or stage this thing? That would be awesome.
