A General Intelligence System Will Ultimately Be a Simple One

You've said that an a g system will ultimately be a simple one. Can you talk through your intuition behind this idea, why you feel that at its core, intelligence is a simple algorithm? Experience tells us that the stuff that works best is really simple. The most successful recanol networks, you can write them down and five lines of pseudo code. But do you think hat there's many layers of abstraction we have to first learn to construct? So without that language that greatly simplifies our way of thinking about these problems, do anything?
