A lot of the talk has been focused on edge, which is essentially just JavaScript that runs. It's distributed throughout the world and when somebody hits a request for a specific function, then it's going to run as close as possible to you. I don't know if anyone's running fun in production as like a service just yet. At least I haven't heard of any.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk about JavaScript runtimes available to use, what to consider, and packages to use.
