Quantum Entanglement
Quantum entanglement is the idea that a quantum system can contain more than one object. Two or more objects are linked to each other in such a way that if one, you can't describe one without describing the other. For example, two electrons might be created out of a certain radioactive decay and there's no way of telling which will have spin up when they're created. You just know that each has a 50-50 chance of being one or the other but you don't know which is which beforehand.
