UB keys are a USB like thumb drive size thing that you show in the USB port and press the button. They can be used for two-factor authentication to web services such as AWS or GitHub. The problem with these is that when you have this tiny thing plugged into the side of your laptop, it types a whole load of garbage into your terminal. UB Co's open source project allows users to turn off one-time password mode on their key. It also lets them use Bluetooth or RFID which works by magic.
