Surely, We Do Not Act Sinfully When We Make Use of Such Words
A truly humble man would rather someone say that he is wretched nothing incapable of no good than to say it himself. Such a case does not involve either double-dealing or false humility, for the mere expression of such recognition is the beginning of honor. Many people tacitly and subtly seek to find fault with the things of God by which they cover over on the pretense of humility their love for their own opinion, temperament, and sloth.
