The Career Paths That Attracted Me to Design Firms

In college, I think one of the reasons that I'm really passionate about kind of showing people that there are alternatives to design firms as a career. When Simpson Strongtai used to come to Cal Poly and they were really involved, I would kind of pick their brain about like, what do you do? How does it work? Like different things like that. And I always thought that sounded like something that I would like to do. It just didn't feel like that was something I could do for a whole career.
