You're Not Just Your Parents, You Know?
I think once you're in your twenties, it's kind of cool to connect with your parents on a more interpersonal level. I had a moment over Thanksgiving where we were looking through old photos and it just, the story that came out in the raw motions made me realize like, "You're a fully three-dimensional human" It usually happens during college. Once you get out of the house, I feel like you start treating your parents like their people. That's weird. Well, that's family.
