Email Is a Decentralized Protocol, Right?
There's an interesting story that I think is relevant to blockchains or other decentralized systems about email where there's no real kind of economic model and then you have this spam problem. The way that that has actually been solved is that email is a centralized system that is like dressed up in a decentralized protocol. Google just reads everybody's emails and figures out what the spam is and then bans it. And that's why email works.
