How to Pronounce Madam

Faulkner was born September 25, 1897 and died July the 6th of 1962. He lived most of his life in Mississippi but came from interesting stock starting with his great grandfather who they called the old Colonel. Faulkner is known for creating a fictional county loosely based on Lafayette County where Oxford is. It took him a little while to get there, but settling into creating this literary world wasn't easy.
