In 2004, Queen released a greatest hits cassette in Iran. The explanation for Bohemian Rhapsody states that the song is about a young man who has accidentally killed someone and like Faust, sold his soul to the devil. One biographer postulated that the four figures mentioned by name, Scaramouche, Galileo, Figaro, and Bizelbub are stand-ins for the band themselves.
