China's Nuclear Powered Submarines
I think there's probably less concern about Russia now than there is about China. We're on the verge of seeing a pretty substantial surge in Chinese nuclear powered submarine capability. There's no reason to think that China can't catch up in terms of its, you know, quieting capability for submarines. But as to why they are such a threat, I mean, the old logic really hasn't changed much for many decades, which is that submarines are incredibly hard to find.
