On top of the weaker pull of gravity, astronauts will also have to deal with lunar night. Any spot on the moon has two weeks per month where it faces away from the sun. And then there's a danger that may be even scarier than radiation and weak gravity: Moon dust.

NASA just launched the Artemis program, a series of missions that will eventually take humans back to the moon, and beyond. But can humans actually survive in space long-term?
