There was an exchange of migrants in both directions many Norse emissaries and merchants went into Scandinavia. By 1050 the tide was turning the Slavs were starting to cross westward and raid into Denmark. So this was now you could say the Slavswere having a little revenge. Also secondly the decline of Viking raiding and colonization in the east was also due to Christianization and the discouragement of warring and raiding among Christians.
