What's Your Biggest Critique of the Y Community or 80 Thousand Hours Advice?
There is a little bit too much focus on what is measurable. And there are a lot of things that are simply hard to measure. People often see people trying to measure the unmeasurable in a way that is, like, to me, a very false sense of precision. I think it is very easy to tip into embracing an aesthetic of rationality that is not itself actually rational. You can really miss things if you can't hear information and ifyou can't hear signal that doesn't come to you wrapped in stylistic and cultural packaging.
