The New Translation of Sir Gawaine
The new translation is really pretty good. The poet simon armitage has tried to make it as like the original as he can in modern english, so that we can understand it. Each mine has three, sometimes four, similar sounds at the beginning of the words. And this is what you've got in sir gawaine. It's written in a deliberately kind of old ish, you know, oral tradition style.
