The Future of Queer and Trans Representation
When you and I came out there wasn't a ton in the way of like hashtag representation. There seems to be the sentiment that millennials and older when we're thinking about queer and trans representation, we're expecting sort of implicit representation. And then there's this like knee demand from the youth that everything is really explicit. To me, it's like very double edged sword because on one hand, like it can be really fun to see, you know, a trans character in a show. But it can also be really painful to see the way that trans people are depicted in shows.
