There's virtually no chance that a first time offender would get sent sentenced to prison based on misdemeanors. And also the plea following a negotiation to avoid prison on the gun charge is not abnormal at all given the offense. If David Weiss were Joe Biden and pointing, how could I prove that having a stronger rebuttal to Trump is better than just a garden variety rebuttal? Very hard to prove.
