The Power of Witness

For a long time, i thought i could swan in and out of other people's wars. There were times when i escaped too narrowly with my life. I never thought it would happen to me. Photographs are not arguments addressed to the reason. They are simply statements of fact addressed to the eye. But in that very simplicity may be some help. Let us see then whether when we look at the same photographs, we feel the same things.
