Pausanias and the Spartans

Only 3,000 of the Persians' camp were left alive and taken prisoner. Only 160 total Spartans to Gians and Athenians had died in the battle. The Greek army marched against their pro-Persian leaders who laid their city under siege. They demanded that they surrender themselves on the condition that they would get off by means of bribes. Pausanias then led the Greeks to Corinth outside of a trial, where he dismissed his army after dismissing Artebazus for attacking Mardonius too soon.
