Exhaustion is not just tiredness. It isn't the kind of thing that a little bit of time off can cure. In my case, i found myself getting irrationally angry at very minor perceived slights. My temper became very short. I had less patience for ordinary obstacles that students face. And yet, i mean, i saw the students as as a problem. The second part of burn out according to the scientific definition is this idea of de personalization, or cynicism. You how did this play out in your own job?
