"I'll never ever deal with him, you know, even contemplate sitting down and trying to come upo and arrange with him," he says. "You don't forget that kind of stuff, that unprincipled, scum baggery." He was 'disgusted' by the government's religious discrimination bill which has been rejected in parts of western sydney where it is seen as a sword used to harm minorities. The former Labor MP believes labour should have said there are so many noxious elements to this bill they're not going to vote for it. It would have given them much more credit if they'd articulated how religion can be an aggressive weapon against minority groups.
